It is this rich, exotic mix of style and elegance which has produced a unique home. This stunning and magical house has been in the Baron's family since it was built by the famed architect William Adam in the 1740's. Charleton has undergone a most stylish and comprehensive programme of refurbishment of the main rooms and bedrooms, yet tastefully retains its glorious atmosphere of the antique at the same time as achieving the heights of modern luxury and comfort. Charleton is not a hotel. When you come here you are a guest of the family. Charleton, although offering all the necessary facilities for a highly successful conference or meeting, where all your requirements will be adhered to, is above all a home. With cupolas and underfloor lightning has a raised stage at one end. Seated banquet lunches or dinners can be arranged for up to 120 people, with buffet style receptions catering for up to 200 people.
